This Privacy Policy explains how EV & Home Energy Guide handles information when you use the app. The app is an independent educational guide to home EV charging, household energy monitoring, and solar accessories.

1. Information the app may handle
Device preferences and saved products. When you save a product, choose a language, or manage notification preferences, the app may store those choices locally on your device. These settings are used only to provide the related app features.
Optional notifications. If you allow notifications, the app may use that permission to send guide or product-update alerts. You can control notification permission and preferences through the app and your device settings.
Contact and feedback. If you voluntarily contact the developer through the app, the developer may receive the information you choose to include, such as your message and contact details. That information is used to respond to your request and is not used for unrelated marketing.
Content and product information. The catalog and guides contain general educational information. They are not a record of your home's electrical system, vehicle, or energy consumption.
2. Information the app does not need for its core features
The core guide and catalog experience does not require you to create an account. Do not enter sensitive personal information, payment card details, electrical-panel identifiers, or other information that is not needed to send feedback.
3. How information is used
Information handled by the app is used to remember your settings, provide optional notifications, display saved products, and respond to feedback. We do not use saved products or notification choices to make decisions about you.
4. Sharing and third parties
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is not shared with third parties for their own advertising. If a future version adds analytics, advertising, cloud storage, or another third-party SDK, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
5. Retention and deletion
Local preferences and saved products remain on your device until you remove them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Feedback information is retained only as needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of information submitted through feedback by using the in-app Contact & feedback option.
6. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. The app should not be used to submit secrets or sensitive information.
7. Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Electrical and safety disclaimer
The app provides general educational information. It is not electrical installation, wiring, engineering, medical, legal, or financial advice. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and consult a licensed electrician for charging capacity, wiring, panel upgrades, protection devices, and installation decisions.
